Hope Women’s Center Provides Support for Women During Difficult Times

Hope Women’s Center in Camp Verde is making a life-changing impact on women like “June,” a 29-year-old single mother of two who found hope and a new beginning through the center’s programs.

June’s journey began in Phoenix, where she struggled with addiction to pharmaceutical drugs after a series of traumatic events in her family. Her battle with addiction led her to a dark place, but a two-month stint in jail for stealing a car became a turning point for her.

With the help of counselors, June entered a rehabilitation center in Tucson and eventually found her way to Hope Women’s Center in Camp Verde. The center provided her with a safe haven, job training, and support to rebuild her life.

Today, June is engaged to be married, has a job she loves at Hope Women’s Center, and is a source of inspiration for others. She hopes to go back to school and become an intake counselor to help women in similar situations.
