In a bizarre incident, a horse was captured on CCTV footage trotting inside a train station in Sydney, Australia. The unexpected visitor sought refuge from a heavy downpour and made its way into Warwick Farm Station before exiting.

The video of the horse’s escapade was shared on social media, with a user jokingly commenting, “The weather’s been awful here, it’s rained all day long… a horse decided to ‘hoof’ the train home from Warwick Farm Station to avoid getting wet after a day out in the city.”

Reacting to the incident, Chris Minns, premier of Australia’s New South Wales state, humorously remarked, “Wet tracker. Didn’t realise I needed to say but – horses aren’t allowed on our trains, sorry folks… I can confirm the horse has returned home, safe and sound.”

Transport for New South Wales, responsible for overseeing transport systems in the state, quipped that the horse was preparing “to stirrup trouble.” Meanwhile, transport minister Jo Haylen expressed relief that the horse kept its hooves behind the yellow line.

It was later revealed that the horse had broken free from Annabel Neasham Racing’s stables near Warwick Farm Station. In an unrelated incident, an UberEats rider was also spotted delivering meals on a horse in Sydney, leading to the rider being banned from the platform for safety concerns.
