Ifor Evans appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer at Allwyn

Allwyn, a leading lottery operator based in Lucerne, Switzerland, has appointed Ifor Evans as its new Group Chief Technology Officer. Ifor brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, IT management, and project leadership to his new role.

Prior to joining Allwyn, Ifor served as the Group Chief Technology Officer at Gamesys PLC/Bally’s Corp., where he was responsible for developing and operating highly capable gaming platforms. He also held the role of Group Chief Technology Officer (Southeast Asia) at Lazada, part of the Alibaba Group, where he led a team in creating and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy.

Robert Chvátal, Allwyn Group CEO, expressed his excitement about Ifor joining the team, highlighting his track record of delivering technology solutions in the gaming and IT sectors. He also thanked Tony Khatskevich, the outgoing Group Chief Technology Officer, for his six years of dedicated service and announced that Tony will transition to an advisory role focusing on innovation, technology, IT, and security matters.
