IIT Delhi wraps up inaugural batch of entrepreneurship program, Venture Studio | Education Update

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (eDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi recently wrapped up the first season of Venture Studio, an innovative entrepreneurship course aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among IIT Delhi students. In collaboration with some esteemed alumni of the institute, the program saw an overwhelming response with over 350 registrations, out of which 40 students were selected to participate in the inaugural season.

Handpicked for their passion, creativity, and drive to make a difference in the startup world, the selected students embarked on an eight-week journey filled with lectures, workshops, case studies, and interactive discussions covering various aspects of entrepreneurship. The curriculum was carefully designed to equip the participants with essential skills such as ideation, market research, business model development, funding strategies, product development, marketing, and scaling.

The highlight of the program was the Pitch Day, where the students had the opportunity to present their startup ideas to a panel of distinguished alumni, including industry experts like Vikram Gupta, Ruchira Shukla, Vivek Kumar, Ashish Padidar, and Priyank Garg. The students not only showcased their learnings from the course but also outlined how they planned to apply them to their existing or upcoming ventures.

The panel engaged in a question round after each pitch, providing valuable feedback and insights to the budding entrepreneurs. The presence of mentors who were part of the teaching faculty added to the enriching experience for the students.

Overall, Venture Studio Season-I was a resounding success, setting the stage for future editions to continue empowering IIT Delhi students on their entrepreneurial journey.
