IIT Delhi wraps up inaugural entrepreneurship course, Venture Studio

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (eDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi recently concluded the first season of Venture Studio, an entrepreneurship course aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among IIT Delhi students. The program, held in collaboration with alumni of the institute, saw a total of 40 students from various academic backgrounds being selected out of over 350 registrations.

The curriculum of Venture Studio Season-I was carefully designed to cover essential topics such as ideation, market research, business model development, funding strategies, product development, marketing, and scaling. Through a series of lectures, workshops, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenging startup ecosystem.

The highlight of the program was the Pitch Day, where the selected students had the opportunity to present their startup ideas to a panel of esteemed alumni, including industry experts like Vikram Gupta, Ruchira Shukla, and Vivek Kumar. The students showcased what they had learned during the course and how they planned to apply it to their startup ventures.

The event also featured a question round after each pitch, allowing the panel to gain a deeper understanding of the students’ ideas and strategies. Overall, Venture Studio Season-I was a resounding success, providing aspiring entrepreneurs at IIT Delhi with the guidance and support needed to kickstart their startup journey.
