Improvements in Progress at Flagstaff Pulliam Airport to Enhance Traveler Experience

Flagstaff Pulliam Airport is undergoing a major facelift to enhance the traveler experience. The terminal building has been repainted both inside and out, with maintenance of the fire suppression system almost complete. New entry doors and carpeting have been installed, and updates to wayfinding signage and lighting are currently in progress. All work is being done at night to minimize disruption, with terminal maintenance expected to wrap up by mid-July.

But the improvements don’t stop there. The Terminal Parking Lot is closed for maintenance, including repairs to curbs and sidewalks, asphalt crack sealing, seal coating, and restriping. In the meantime, the Economy Parking Lot is open, offering ample parking at a rate of $2 per hour, up to a daily rate of $6 and a weekly rate of $36. Temporary accessible parking near the terminal is available at no cost, with signage to guide travelers to the appropriate parking areas. The Terminal Parking Lot is set to reopen in mid-June.

Flagstaff Pulliam Airport Director Brian Gall expressed excitement about the upgrades, funded by the CARES Act, which is set to expire this year. He thanked travelers for their cooperation during the maintenance work. In addition to visible improvements, such as updated paint and signage, less visible enhancements include sealcoating and restriping of the runway and repairs to fencing for wildlife mitigation on the airfield.
