Inaugural graduation ceremony held by Nduom School of Business and Technology

The Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSBT) recently held its maiden congregation and third matriculation ceremony, graduating a total of 25 students who completed their degree and diploma programs in 2021 and 2022. The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the institution, with two students graduating with first-class honors, 12 with second-class upper honors, nine with second-class lower honors, and two with third-class honors.

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the founder of the school, gifted a cash prize of $1,000 to each of the first eight students who started with the school in 2018, urging them to invest the money wisely. He emphasized the school’s commitment to providing quality education in business and technology, with a vision to become the best in the field.

The Rector of NSBT, Rev Prof Daniel Adjepong Nyarko, highlighted the school’s efforts to establish collaborative partnerships with universities abroad, particularly in the USA, to enhance students’ knowledge and skills for national development. He also announced plans to create an office of international relations to coordinate such activities.

Dr. Emmanuel Newman, Director for Policy, Planning, and Research at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), encouraged the graduates to leverage their training and skills to solve societal problems and avoid unemployment. He announced that NSBT would soon charter as a fully-fledged university, equipped with the necessary facilities and resources to compete globally.

Overall, the graduation ceremony was a testament to NSBT’s dedication to providing practical and positive learning experiences for its students, with a focus on preparing them for successful careers in business and technology.
