Indian Embassy in Israel Releases Advisory Following Increased Threat of Wider Conflict Due to Iran’s Attack | Global News

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Indian embassy in Israel issued a stern advisory to its citizens living in the region as tensions escalated following Iran’s direct attack on Israeli territory. The embassy urged all Indian nationals to stay calm and strictly adhere to the safety protocols issued by the local authorities in light of the recent events.

Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel came just days after its consulate in Syria was targeted with missiles. Tehran justified its strike as retribution for alleged “Israeli crimes”, although Israel neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for the attack, which resulted in the deaths of senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to achieve victory after the Israeli military successfully intercepted and repelled almost all the drones and missiles launched by Iran. Netanyahu expressed confidence in the country’s ability to overcome the threat posed by the attack.

The United Nations Security Council was scheduled to convene to address the situation following Israel’s request to condemn Iran’s aggression and designate the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization. The international community closely monitored the developments in the region as the threat of a wider conflict loomed large.

The Indian embassy assured its continuous monitoring of the situation and remained in close contact with both the Israeli authorities and the Indian diaspora to ensure the safety and well-being of all Indian citizens in Israel. The embassy also provided a 24*7 emergency helpline and urged Indian nationals to register with the embassy if they had not done so already.
