An Indo-Canadian fugitive, Dharam Singh Dhaliwal, has been listed among Canada’s Most Wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur in December 2022. Dhaliwal, who was placed on Canada’s 25 Most Wanted list by the Be On The Lookout (BOLO) programme, is wanted for the First Degree Murder of Kaur, who was shot multiple times at the Petro-Canada gas station where she worked in Brampton, Greater Toronto Area.

A reward of up to 50,000 Canadian dollars is being offered for information leading to Dhaliwal’s arrest. Peel Regional Police (PRP) chief Nishan Duraiappah emphasized the importance of finding Dhaliwal, stating, “The murder of Pawanpreet Kaur forever changed her family’s life and significantly affected our community. Peel Regional Police is asking for the public’s assistance with information on Dharam Dhaliwal as her family deserves answers and justice for this tragedy.”

The BOLO programme focuses on individuals wanted for serious crimes and utilizes social media, technology, and citizen engagement to locate Canada’s most wanted fugitives. Dhaliwal, described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a tattoo on his left hand, is considered armed and dangerous. Two of his family members were arrested for Accessory to Murder After the Fact, and the BOLO listing warns that anyone aiding Dhaliwal in evading arrest will face similar charges.

Meanwhile, another fugitive, Satinderjeet Singh, also known as gangster Goldy Brar, remains at large for his alleged involvement in the murder of entertainer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala in May 2022. Despite not being included in the latest Most Wanted list, Brar is still sought by authorities.
