Innisfil’s entrepreneurs invited to AI bootcamp in town

The Town of Innisfil is gearing up to host an AI Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures and the County of Simcoe. Scheduled to kick off on May 30 and run weekly until June 13, the bootcamp aims to demystify artificial intelligence (AI) and showcase its potential to revolutionize business operations for entrepreneurs and business owners in Simcoe County.

Mayor Lynn Dollin expressed excitement about the event, highlighting the town’s commitment to equipping local businesses with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital era. The AI Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs will consist of three sessions: Introduction to AI for Business, AI for Marketing, and Implementing AI in Business Operations & Beyond workshops.

Participants can expect to gain a solid understanding of AI fundamentals and practical insights on leveraging AI tools to streamline operations and drive business growth. The sessions will offer hands-on experiences with AI tools, catering to individuals of all skill levels, including beginners.

Aligned with Innisfil’s economic development strategic plan, the bootcamp supports an innovation-driven economy, a key objective outlined in the plan. The collaboration with Nottawasaga Futures and the County of Simcoe underscores the town’s commitment to fostering a cohesive community and leveraging resources to bolster economic development.

Scheduled from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on May 30, June 6, and June 13, interested participants must register by May 28 to secure their spot.
