The Network, a new ad-supported premium streaming platform, has officially launched, offering viewers a curated selection of original content for free. Created by Aram Rappaport, the platform aims to simplify the streaming experience by releasing two new originals each week: dramas on Tuesdays and comedies on Thursdays.

The platform kicked off its launch with the release of two series: “The Green Veil” and “Chivalry.” “The Green Veil” is an eight-episode drama/thriller/sci-fi series executive produced by John Leguizamo and Rappaport. The series follows a government agent in the 1950s on a secret mission that threatens to expose deeper secrets. Leguizamo stars in his first leading role in a TV series, alongside a talented cast including Hani Furstenberg, John Ortiz, Irene Bedard, and Isabelle Poloner.

On the comedy side, “Chivalry” makes its U.S. debut after receiving rave reviews in the UK. The series, created by and starring Steve Coogan and Sarah Solemani, explores the entertainment industry in the post #MeToo era. With a critically acclaimed female director brought in to steer a troubled production, the series delves into the complexities of the industry with humor and insight.
