American technology startup Iozera is set to make a groundbreaking move by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Moroccan government to establish a 386 MW data center and artificial intelligence center in Tetouan. This initiative is poised to revolutionize the artificial intelligence sector in Morocco and beyond.

The 386 MW data center will be powered by renewable energy sources in Morocco, making it a sustainable and environmentally friendly project. This state-of-the-art facility will cater to the increasing processing needs of computers, providing a cutting-edge solution for data storage and management.

In addition to the data center, Iozera will also establish an artificial intelligence center in Tetouan. This center will serve as a hub for researchers, startups, and enterprises, offering advanced computing resources based on graphics processing units (GPUs). This will enhance the availability of GPU-based processing for users in the United States, Morocco, and globally.

The strategic partnership between Iozera and the Moroccan government aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence and foster international cooperation in this field. The memorandum of understanding will be signed at the Capital Factory in Austin, Texas, in the presence of representatives from the Moroccan government and the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports (AMDIE).

This ambitious project is set to propel the advancement of artificial intelligence in Morocco and contribute to the global technological landscape. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking collaboration between Iozera and the Moroccan government.
