IPL 2024: Latest Points Table, Orange Cap, and Purple Cap Holders After KKR vs DC Match at Eden Gardens

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) continued their winning streak in the IPL 2024 by defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) in a thrilling match at the Eden Gardens. With this victory, KKR now stands second in the IPL 2024 points table with six wins in nine games, while DC is placed sixth with five wins and six losses in 11 matches.

DC won the toss and chose to bat first but struggled to get going as they lost their openers early. Kuldeep Yadav was the highest run-scorer for DC with 35 runs. Despite their efforts, DC could only manage to score 153-9 in 20 overs.

In response, KKR got off to a flying start with Phil Salt scoring a blazing fifty. His 68 runs off 33 balls ensured KKR chased down the target with ease, winning the match by seven wickets with 3.3 overs to spare.

In the updated IPL 2024 points table, Rajasthan Royals (RR) leads with 16 points, followed by KKR with 12 points. Virat Kohli from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) holds the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs in the tournament, while Jasprit Bumrah from Mumbai Indians leads the wicket-takers list and holds the Purple Cap.
