IPL 2024: Latest Points Table, Orange Cap, and Purple Cap Standings Following PBKS Vs RCB Match

In a thrilling match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2024 season, RCB emerged victorious with a 60-run win. The match, which took place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, saw RCB captain Faf du Plessis departing early in the third over. However, a spectacular 92-run knock by Virat Kohli, supported by quickfire innings from Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green, propelled RCB to a formidable total of 241-7 in 20 overs.

Despite a valiant effort from Punjab Kings, with Rilee Rossouw scoring a quick fifty, they fell short of the target and succumbed to RCB’s bowling attack. With this win, RCB secured their fifth victory of the IPL 2024 season and climbed to the seventh position in the points table.

In the updated IPL 2024 points table, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) maintained their lead with 16 points from 11 matches, followed closely by Rajasthan Royals (RR) with the same number of points. Virat Kohli topped the Orange Cap list with 634 runs in 12 matches, while Harshal Patel from PBKS led the Purple Cap list with 20 wickets in 12 matches.
