Iran’s military has issued a strong warning to Israel, stating that it is fully prepared to confront any attack. The Iranian air force has declared its readiness for action, with the navy also stepping up its defenses by escorting Iranian commercial vessels to the Red Sea.

Tensions between Iran and Israel escalated after Iran carried out its first-ever direct attack on Israel last weekend in retaliation for a suspected Israeli strike on an Iranian diplomatic compound in Damascus. In response, Israel’s war cabinet is meeting to discuss potential options for retaliation.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi made it clear that any attack by Israel on Iranian soil would be met with a severe response. The commander of the Iranian Air Force also emphasized the preparedness of their warplanes to counter any potential Israeli attack.

Furthermore, Iran’s navy commander confirmed that Iranian commercial ships are being escorted to the Red Sea, with the presence of the Jamaran frigate in the Gulf of Aden. Tehran has also expressed its willingness to escort vessels of other countries in the region.

The recent seizure of a Portuguese-flagged container ship by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran claims is linked to Israel, has further heightened tensions in the region. With both sides on high alert, the situation remains volatile as the threat of military confrontation looms large.
