Is My Ab Visible to Everyone?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

HGTV star Tarek El Moussa recently took to Instagram to share a jaw-dropping transformation, revealing that he was once “an overweight, chain-smoking alcoholic, who was always stressed!” before embarking on his fitness journey.

In the post, El Moussa proudly displayed his six-pack abs in a shirtless beachside photo, jokingly admitting, “Sooooo….it’s been a few years since I posted a knockoff male model photo but hey….I’m finally in shape🤣🤣🤣!”

The 42-year-old HGTV host credited his fitness journey to a wake-up call he received three years ago when he saw his health metrics on a scale and decided to hit the gym the next day. With the help of his fitness expert friend, Sean Torbati, El Moussa has been hitting the gym almost every day since then.

This isn’t the first time El Moussa has been open about his fitness journey. He previously shared a photo with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, showcasing his progress and emphasizing the importance of guidance and redirection in achieving growth.

El Moussa’s journey to better health and fitness is chronicled in his new book, “Flip Your Life: How to Find Opportunity in Distress—in Real Estate, Business, and Life,” where he also opens up about his struggles with addiction and mental health.

With a newfound focus on physical and mental well-being, El Moussa is inspiring others to prioritize their health and persevere towards their goals. As he shared in a recent Instagram post, “It doesn’t matter how tired you are or how beat up you are or how drained you are. We can all come back to feeling like we are in the best shape of our life! All you have to do is get started!”
