Isaac Bean, a junior at Saint Xavier High School, has been named the Courier Journal Student of the Week for his outstanding dedication to service and helping others in need.
Known for his caring nature and willingness to go above and beyond, Isaac has been actively involved in organizing and initiating service projects for St. X. Recently, he took on a service opportunity to benefit Catholic Charities, working with fellow St. X students and parents to stuff, sew, and tie 50 pillows for those in need. This initiative aimed to support struggling refugees and immigrants seeking a better life.
Isaac’s selfless actions have not gone unnoticed, as he is now seen as a hero for those who need help the most. His commitment to making a difference in the community has earned him the title of Student of the Week.
The nomination period and poll voting for Student of the Week opens every Monday and closes at noon each Thursday. The students are featured in the Sunday Courier Journal. Schools can nominate students for this recognition through the provided link.
In addition to Isaac, other outstanding students like Heidi Lutz-Buford from Oldham County High School and Kevin Acuna Ten from Southern High School have also been recognized for their exceptional achievements and contributions to their communities.
