Israel has issued a stark warning, declaring that the conflict with Iran is far from over. The tension escalated after Tehran launched 330 drones and missiles overnight, prompting Israel to vow to “exact a price” for the attack. The Israeli military reported that over 99% of the drones and missiles were intercepted with the assistance of the US, UK, and France.

“We will build a regional coalition against the threat of Iran, and we will exact a price from it in the way and at the time that suits us,” stated Israel’s minister Benny Gantz, as reported by The Independent. In response, Tehran had initially claimed that the matter was concluded.

The US military confirmed that it destroyed 80 attack drones and at least six ballistic missiles fired from Iran and Yemen. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reiterated its support for Israel’s defense against Iran’s actions and pledged to enhance regional security with its partners.

President Joe Biden assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the US would not participate in a counter-offensive against Iran. Additionally, Iraq, Jordan, and Turkey officials revealed that they had been warned by Iran days before the attack on Israel.

Iran’s foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, disclosed that neighboring countries and the US were given a 72-hour notice before the drones and missiles were launched. Turkey’s foreign ministry and Iraqi sources confirmed that diplomatic channels were used to inform them of the impending attack.
