Israeli air strikes near Damascus injure eight Syrian soldiers

In a recent development, Syria’s defence ministry reported that eight soldiers were injured in Israeli air strikes near Damascus. The ministry stated that the strikes were launched from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a site near the capital city.

Israel, known for rarely commenting on individual strikes, has consistently expressed its stance against allowing Iran to expand its presence in Syria.
