Israeli artists denied visas by US after releasing ‘Harbu Darbu’ song

Singer Lior Narkis was left disappointed after not receiving the required permission to hold a planned concert in Miami with hip hop duo Ness and Stila. The announcement was made on Narkis’ Instagram account, where he expressed his frustration over the bureaucratic hurdles that prevented the performances from taking place.

The request for the artist visa was made alongside Nesia Levy and Dor Soroker, who released the controversial song “Harbu Darbu” in November. The song, which called on the IDF to take revenge on Hamas and other terrorists, as well as international anti-Israel celebrities, sparked a wave of controversy due to its provocative lyrics.

The song’s lyrics referred to Hamas and its supporters as “Children of Amalek,” an ancient tribe that sought to destroy the Israelites. It also mentioned celebrities like Mia Khalifa, Dua Lipa, and Bella Hadid, calling for action against them.

Despite the setback, Narkis and the other artists involved are hopeful that they will eventually receive the necessary approvals to perform in the United States. Dod Haim, another artist scheduled to perform at the concert, also expressed his disappointment over the visa issues but assured fans that efforts are still being made to resolve the situation.

The controversy surrounding the song “Harbu Darbu” continues to make headlines, with reactions from both supporters and critics. The artists involved remain determined to share their music with their audience, despite the challenges they face in obtaining the required permissions.
