Jack Smith criticizes judge handling Trump’s classified documents case as former president sues Truth Social co-founders: The latest updates

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former President Donald Trump has declared that 5 November will be known as ‘Christian Visibility Day’ as he continues his controversial campaign trail across the United States. Trump, who is facing legal battles over classified documents and ownership of his media company, made the announcement during a rally in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith has urged US district judge Aileen Cannon to dismiss Trump’s claim of personal ownership over top secret files seized by the FBI from Mar-a-Lago. Smith called Trump’s assertion “pure fiction” and argued that the evidence gathered does not support the former president’s claim.

In addition to his legal troubles, Trump is also embroiled in a lawsuit against his co-founders of Truth Social, Andy Litinsky and Wes Moss, over ownership of the parent company. Despite these challenges, Trump has been using his campaign rallies to attack President Joe Biden on various issues, including immigration and border security.

During his rally, Trump revived his “bloodbath” rhetoric on illegal immigrants and warned of dire consequences if he were to lose the upcoming election. He also compared himself to notorious gangster Al Capone and proclaimed a “Christian Visibility Day” in an apparent attempt to appeal to his conservative base.

As Trump continues to make headlines with his controversial statements and legal battles, the upcoming election on 5 November is shaping up to be a pivotal moment in American politics. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
