External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with visiting UAE Minister Reem Al Hashimy on Tuesday to discuss further steps in their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The meeting, which took place in New Delhi, focused on enhancing cooperation in various sectors such as trade and investment, defence and security, food and energy security, and education.
Jaishankar expressed his delight at meeting with UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy and emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between India and the UAE. During her official visit to New Delhi, Minister Reem Al Hashimy also met with Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra to review the multi-faceted ties between the two countries. During his visit, PM Modi also attended the grand inauguration of a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, underscoring the strong cultural and historical connections between India and the UAE.
