Wrestling fans are buzzing with excitement as rumors swirl about the possibility of WWE superstar Becky Lynch making a move to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Chris Jericho, a wrestling legend and current FTW Champ, recently sat down with TMZ to discuss the speculation surrounding Lynch’s future.

During the interview, Jericho reflected on his own journey in professional wrestling and the success of AEW over the past five years. He mentioned how unexpected signings, like himself, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole, have added to the excitement for both fans and wrestlers.

When asked about the rumors of Becky Lynch potentially joining AEW, Jericho hinted at the possibility by saying, “Five years ago, Becky would have no other options. Not saying that she’s coming, but there is an option. And who knows what could happen?”

Jericho also compared the current rivalry between WWE and AEW to the iconic battles of the mid-90s, known as the Monday Night Wars. He emphasized the excitement of new talent crossing over between promotions and the endless possibilities for dream matches.

As for Lynch’s future, Jericho admitted he has no inside information on whether she will sign with AEW. However, he expressed his own enthusiasm for continuing to wrestle, citing his physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The interview also touched on Jericho’s band, Fozzy, and his involvement in mentoring young AEW talent like Swerve Strickland, MJF, and Darby Allin. Fans can catch the full interview on AEW Dynamite, airing Wednesday night.
