JetBlue, known for its innovative approach to inflight entertainment, has once again raised the bar with the introduction of Blueprint by JetBlue. This new software system promises to revolutionize the inflight viewing experience for passengers on many of its jets.
One of the standout features of Blueprint is the ability for groups of up to six customers to watch the same content simultaneously on different TV screens. This unique feature turns the flight experience into a watch party, allowing passengers to play and pause content across screens in perfect sync.
Personalization is at the core of Blueprint, with JetBlue offering content recommendations based on previous viewing history. Passengers can seamlessly pick up where they left off on their previous flight, regardless of whether it was just a few hours or months ago.
Additionally, passengers can save their favorite settings, including volume, language, and parental controls, which will be synced to their profile and shared across screens on all eligible JetBlue flights.
To access these personalized features, passengers will need to log in to the seatback screens by providing their first and last name, as well as their date of birth. JetBlue has also addressed passenger feedback by allowing travelers to change their preferred name on their travel profile, ensuring a more personalized welcome message during boarding.
The rollout of Blueprint by JetBlue will occur in the coming weeks on jets equipped with Thales AVANT touchscreens, excluding the legacy Airbus A321 fleet. JetBlue’s commitment to enhancing the inflight experience demonstrates their dedication to creating a comfortable and personalized journey for all passengers.
