Jihae, the Succession Actor, to Star in Denis Villeneuve’s Upcoming Series Dune: Prophecy

South Korean actor Jihae has been cast in the upcoming series “Dune: Prophecy,” joining Indian superstar Tabu in this highly anticipated prequel to the blockbuster film franchise “Dune.” Jihae will play the role of Reverend Mother Kasha, the Emperor’s own Truthsayer and confidant, who finds herself questioning the intentions of the Sisterhood as she navigates a position of great influence in the Imperium.

“Dune: Prophecy” is set 10,000 years before the events of Frank Herbert’s “Dune” and is based on the novel “Sisterhood of Dune” by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson. The series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces threatening the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

The star-studded cast of “Dune: Prophecy” also includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, and many more talented actors. Alison Schapker serves as the showrunner and executive producer, with Diane Ademu-John co-developing the series. Anna Foerster has directed multiple episodes, including the first of the series.
