Jim Meenaghan appointed as COO of Stampede Ventures

Jim Meenaghan, a former 15-year UTA executive and partner, has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Stampede Ventures, led by founder and CEO Greg Silverman. Meenaghan, who previously held roles as co-head of independent film and head of MP business affairs at UTA, will now oversee the day-to-day operations at Stampede Ventures.

Expressing his excitement about the new role, Meenaghan stated, “Stampede Ventures is the perfect opportunity for me, the timing could not be better. I’m very excited to join such an ambitious company committed to making great, commercial content with a remarkable executive team and culture already in place.”

Having been promoted to co-head the independent film group at UTA in 2018, Meenaghan brings a wealth of experience to Stampede Ventures. The studio recently announced partnerships with Film AlUla studios, Hidden Pigeon Company, and Happy Nest, positioning itself for growth and success in the industry.
