Jocasta Williams, the General Manager of Echo360’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, has been promoted to oversee the company’s operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). With over 20 years of experience in the video learning industry, Williams has been instrumental in helping some of the world’s largest universities enhance student engagement and outcomes through innovative learning technologies.

Under Williams’ leadership, Echo360 has established strong partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Australia’s “Group of 8” research universities, including The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, and Monash University. In her expanded role, Williams will now bring her customer-centric approach and focus on learning outcomes to the majority of the UK’s “Russell Group” universities, including the University of Glasgow, The University of Edinburgh, and King’s College London.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the great universities and people Echo360 supports across EMEA,” said Williams. “As Echo360 continues to expand its Echosystem of inspired learning solutions for customers around the world, this geographic expansion comes at both a natural and opportune time for everyone.”

Echo360’s Echosystem of learning solutions includes instructional content creation, video delivery and management, learning engagement, and assessment. The company’s recent acquisition of Inkling, a mobile-enabled learning management system, further enhances its impact across education and business markets.

Echo360 President and CEO, Murad Velani, praised Williams for her deep domain knowledge in education and technology, as well as her commitment to building trusted relationships with customers. Williams holds degrees from the University of Surrey and The University of Western Australia, and is known for her authenticity and dedication to the success of administrators, instructors, and learners.

Joining Williams in leading the EMEA team is Linda Storey, a seasoned curriculum and technology industry veteran with 25 years of experience. Storey, who previously worked with Echo360 for 14 years, will serve as the Executive Strategic Account Consultant for the region. Her expertise in introducing lecture capture and video-based learning to universities across the UK and Europe will be invaluable in driving Echo360’s growth in the EMEA market.

Echo360 is a leading interactive video learning management platform serving over 2 million learners and instructors at more than 1200 higher education institutions worldwide. With a focus on learning equity, evidence, and engagement, Echo360 enables instructors and learners to create, record, consume content, and gain real-time insights along their learning journey.
