Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Dallas Stars pulled off a thrilling 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in a nail-biting first-round NHL playoffs series on Monday night. Wyatt Johnston led the charge with his third goal in two games, showcasing his scoring prowess on the ice.

In addition to Johnston’s stellar performance, Evgenii Dadonov, Ty Dellandrea, and Roope Hintz also found the back of the net for the Stars, while goalie Jake Oettinger made 33 crucial saves to secure the win.

Despite a valiant effort from the Golden Knights, with goals from Michael Amadio and Jack Eichel, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Stars’ offensive onslaught. Eichel, who has been on fire with goals in three consecutive games, continued to impress with his performance.

The series is now tied, setting the stage for an intense Game 5 in Dallas on Wednesday night. Interestingly, the road team has emerged victorious in every game so far, adding an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming matchup.

With both teams trading goals in the first period and the Stars dominating the second period, the game was a rollercoaster of emotions for fans. Ultimately, Dallas’s strong defensive play in the third period sealed the deal, with Roope Hintz scoring an empty-net goal to secure the win.

As the Stars celebrate their hard-fought victory, all eyes will be on the next game to see which team will take the lead in this thrilling playoff series.
