Join the St. Petersburg Summer Sports Leagues for Adults and Get in the Game

The City of St. Petersburg is buzzing with excitement as the summer sports leagues make a triumphant return. Adults looking to engage in friendly competition can sign up for basketball, flag football, kickball, and softball leagues.

In the basketball category, players have the option to join different leagues based on age groups. There are leagues for men aged 40 and older, 45 and older, as well as those 18 and older. The team registration fee is $350 for a six-game season.

Flag football enthusiasts can participate in the Monday and Tuesday men’s leagues, with a new addition this year being the Thursday women’s league. The team registration fee is also $350, with the top four teams advancing to the tournament.

Kickball offers a Tuesday coed league and a Thursday coed league, with a team registration fee of $250 for a six-game season leading up to the finals tournament.

Softball leagues are divided into men’s, coed, and a new league for men aged 50 and older. The team registration fee is $350 for a six-game season.

Registration for the St. Petersburg summer sports leagues is currently open on stpeteparksrec.org. The games are set to begin the week of June 24, with priority registration for existing teams taking place from May 27 to June 4. General registration will open from June 5 to 18 on a first-come, first-served basis.
