Josh Brolin, known for his roles in iconic films such as “The Goonies” and “No Country for Old Men,” is set to release a new memoir titled “From Under the Truck” this fall. The 56-year-old actor shared the cover of his upcoming book exclusively with PEOPLE, giving fans a glimpse into what to expect from his latest literary venture.

Described as an “un-celebrity memoir,” “From Under the Truck” will delve into Brolin’s unconventional childhood in Paso Robles, Calif., where he grew up surrounded by wild animals. The book will also touch on the tragic early death of his mother, Jane Agee Brolin, and explore his decades-long film career, offering insights into his journey into fatherhood, addiction, relationships, and love.

This isn’t Brolin’s first foray into publishing this year. In February, he released a book of poetry and photography titled “Dune: Exposures,” which pays tribute to his role in the “Dune” franchise. The book features candid photos from the set interspersed with poems by Brolin, showcasing the creative bond between him and Director of Photography Greig Fraser.

“From Under the Truck” is set to hit shelves on Nov. 19 and is now available for preorder. Fans of Brolin and those interested in a candid look at the actor’s life and career won’t want to miss this upcoming release. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated memoir.
