The Baldwin High School girls’ basketball team had a standout season, with several players earning recognition for their impressive performances on the court. Coach Eric Toot was named Coach of the Year for leading his team to a 14-8 record and guiding them to the substate title game.

Player of the Year honors went to Alyssa Reichard, a senior forward who averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game. Reichard was a key contributor to the team’s success and closed out her high school career in style.

Peyton Wright, a guard for Baldwin High, was also recognized for her strong play, averaging 11.0 points per game and shooting well from the free-throw line and beyond the arc.

In addition to the Baldwin players, several other standout athletes were highlighted in the All-Area Teams. Cami Nauholz of Lawrence High made an impact as a freshman, averaging 10.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game.

Anniston Clark of Free State High School was another standout freshman, averaging 11.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and showcasing her skills on both ends of the court.

Overall, the All-Area Teams showcased the talent and dedication of these young athletes, highlighting their hard work and contributions to their respective teams. Congratulations to all the players who were recognized for their outstanding performances during the season.
