The legal drama between country music star Zac Brown and his estranged wife, Kelly Yazdi, continues as a Georgia judge denied Brown’s request for a restraining order over Yazdi’s social media posts. The judge cited doubts about the merits of Brown’s claims in the case.

The dispute began when Brown filed a lawsuit against Yazdi to remove an Instagram post that he alleges violates a confidentiality agreement she signed. The couple started dating in December 2021, and Yazdi began working for Brown’s company shortly after, signing the confidentiality agreement.

In addition to seeking the removal of the Instagram post, Brown’s request for a temporary restraining order aims to prevent Yazdi from making any defamatory statements about him, his family, his company, and his band. The judge indicated that a separate hearing would be held to consider a potential order restricting Yazdi’s social media posts related to the case.

Yazdi, in response to the lawsuit, stated on social media that she will not be silenced and has the right to freely express herself. The couple married in late August 2023 and divorced four months later.

Brown emphasized that the lawsuit is intended to enforce the confidentiality agreement and protect his family from online harassment. He expressed a desire for privacy and mutual respect in handling their personal and business affairs. The legal battle between Brown and Yazdi continues to unfold as they navigate their divorce and the implications of their past relationship.
