Julia Gagnon, the Cumberland singer who captured hearts on “American Idol,” is back home and ready to thank her fellow Mainers in person. The 22-year-old star is planning a Maine tour this summer, with stops at 15 to 20 locations across the state.

One of her upcoming shows is already set for July 13 at the Moxie Festival in Lisbon Falls. Gagnon, who finished in the top seven on “American Idol,” is also working on a song about Maine that she will record with her fiancé and musical collaborator, Nate Haven.

While she can’t reveal all the details yet, Gagnon hinted at some exciting plans for the fall. For now, she wants to focus on Maine and show her gratitude to all the fans who supported her during her “American Idol” journey.

Gagnon’s experience on the show has inspired her to pursue music for the time being, putting her law school aspirations on hold. She credits the show for boosting her confidence and helping her grow as an artist.

During her time on “American Idol,” Gagnon made connections that could further her music career. She has hired Brian Root as her manager, a move that could open up new opportunities for her in the industry.

As she prepares for her Maine tour, Gagnon is grateful for the support she has received from fans of all ages across the state. From watch parties to messages of encouragement, Mainers have rallied behind their hometown star.

Gagnon’s journey on “American Idol” has been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences, but through it all, she has remained true to herself and her music. With a bright future ahead, Gagnon is ready to share her talent with the world and make Maine proud.
