Sophia Karsnia led the Brainerd Warriors to a fourth-place finish in the Presection 8-3A meet at Greystone Golf Club with an impressive second-place 82. Karsnia showcased her skills by carding 10 pars on her way to shooting a 10-over 82, securing a strong position for her team.
Following Karsnia’s stellar performance, Kiley Jendro shot a 91 to claim 10th place, while Marcella Timmons and Meredith Holmstrom contributed scores of 101 and 102, respectively. The combined efforts of the team resulted in a total score of 376 for Brainerd.
Despite their commendable performance, Moorhead emerged victorious in the section preview with a score of 360, followed closely by Alexandria with 364 and Sartell with 366.
The individual medalist of the event was Kennedy Mara from Willmar, who shot an impressive 81.
