The duo had attended an event in Bengaluru and returned to Mumbai, where they were captured by paparazzi sharing a warm hug before departing to their respective cars.

The two stars are set to collaborate on an upcoming untitled film, with Kartik playing the lead role. Directed by Sandeep Modi, the movie is scheduled for release on August 15, 2025, and is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd.

This exciting news was shared by Karan on Instagram back in November 2023, expressing his enthusiasm for the project and Kartik’s involvement. The duo’s reunion at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne further solidified their partnership, following reports of a fallout during the production of ‘Dostana 2’ in 2021.

Apart from the upcoming film, Kartik is also gearing up for the release of ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan, which is based on the inspiring true story of a determined sportsperson. Additionally, he will be reprising his role as ‘Rooh Baba’ in the third installment of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, alongside Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri, set to hit theaters on Diwali 2024.
