Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has sent a heartfelt message to the British Army’s Irish Guards regiment as she continues her cancer treatment. In a letter posted on the Irish Guards’ Twitter page, Kate expressed her pride in the regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour parade. She apologized for missing the rehearsal and expressed her hope to represent them again soon.

Members of the regiment were touched by Kate’s message and broke out in applause after it was read to them. The Princess of Wales, who has been keeping a low profile since her cancer diagnosis, has received well-wishes from celebrities and continues her recovery journey.

While Kate’s absence from the rehearsal was announced last month, there has been no confirmation from Kensington Palace about her attendance at the main Trooping the Colour event on June 15. The event, which celebrates the U.K. monarch’s birthday, is expected to be attended by King Charles III, who is also battling cancer.

Prince William recently shared a health update about his wife, stating that she is getting better and would have loved to be present at the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings event. The royal family, including Kate, William, and their three children, traditionally make a public appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the annual parade.

As Kate continues her treatment, the public remains hopeful for her recovery and eagerly awaits any updates on her health and potential future appearances.
