Muncy Softball Continues Undefeated Streak with 10-0 Win Over Montgomery

In a dominating performance, the Muncy softball team secured a 10-0 victory over Montgomery, extending their undefeated season to 14-0. Senior leaders Kaylyn Rice and Callie Gentzyel showcased their skills, with Rice delivering two hits and Gentzyel displaying unselfish play.

Nolah Moyer pitched a one-hit shutout, going 3 for 3 at the plate with four RBIs. The entire Muncy lineup contributed to the win, with every starter combining for 13 hits. Rice, who has been a standout player for Muncy, had another impressive performance, collecting multiple hits for the third time in a week.

Gentzyel, known for her team-first mentality, emphasized the importance of each player contributing to the team’s success. She highlighted the unity and positive mindset within the team, stating, “We line the hits up, we get the hits and it’s nice to see us all finally fall in line to get it done.”
