Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) is offering a variety of summer programs to help residents stay healthy and active in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach. From mindful yoga on the beach to virtual social hours and workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the upcoming events is the Mindful Yoga session in Hermosa Beach on Monday, May 13 and 20. This session will take place on the sand near Scotty’s Restaurant from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. It is a great opportunity to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful beach scenery.

For those looking to connect with others, the Virtual Social Hour with a care manager via Zoom is a great option. This event takes place on the first and third Tuesdays of the month and provides a space for community members to ask questions and learn more about BCHD.

Additionally, there are workshops and events focused on mental health, fitness, and wellness for all age groups. From Teen Mental Health First Aid to National Senior Health & Fitness Week, BCHD is committed to promoting overall well-being in the community.

Whether you’re interested in yoga, socializing, or learning more about health and wellness, BCHD has a program for you. To register for these events and find more information, visit BCHD.org. Stay healthy and active this summer with the Beach Cities Health District!
