The State of Qatar’s pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 in Dubai is drawing in visitors with its showcase of the country’s vibrant tourism sector. With 43 partners from the tourism industry participating, the pavilion is a hub of activity, highlighting the diverse range of events and experiences that Qatar has to offer.
Qatar Tourism (QT) is using its presence at the ATM to support the country’s efforts to diversify its economy in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The pavilion is not only a platform to promote tourism in Qatar but also a way to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage and modern attractions.
Khalid Muftah from QT emphasized the importance of the pavilion in informing visitors and industry experts about the progress of Qatar’s tourism sector. He highlighted the various events and shows that Qatar has planned for the year, with over 80 events scheduled to take place.
The Qatar visit application, available in eight languages, is a convenient way for the public to stay updated on the country’s events calendar. Muftah stressed the commitment of QT to continuously adapt and diversify the calendar to meet the needs and interests of tourists both domestically and internationally.
Katara Hospitality, another key participant in the pavilion, is focused on promoting tourism in Qatar through its expertise in the hospitality industry. With a strong presence in the global hotel market, Katara Hospitality is working to enhance tourism both within Qatar and abroad.
The ATM, running until May 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is providing a platform for tourism experts from the Middle East to showcase their products and advancements in the industry.
