Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed participates in the EmiratesSkills National Competition in the UAE

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, recently graced the 15th EmiratesSkills National Competition, a prestigious event held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. The competition, organized by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre until April 24th.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled was impressed by the skills showcased by Emirati students in engineering, industrial, and professional sectors, which are crucial for the future job market. He emphasized the importance of such competitions in fostering cooperation among students, enhancing vocational and technical skills, and promoting lifelong learning. Supporting UAE talent to boost the country’s global competitiveness is a top priority for the UAE leadership, as it plays a vital role in driving national growth and development.

Accompanied by key officials including Saif Saeed Ghobash and Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Sheikh Khaled witnessed the enthusiasm and dedication of young participants aged 16-21 years, who are competing in various technical and vocational skills. The competition also includes an international friendly skills competition, where UAE youth compete with peers from 17 countries in preparation for the WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France, in 2024.

The EmiratesSkills National Competition serves as a platform to showcase the talent and potential of UAE youth in technical and vocational fields, highlighting the country’s commitment to nurturing skilled professionals for the future. The event not only promotes excellence but also fosters international cooperation and exchange of knowledge among participants from different nations.
