Seven Killeen ISD Career Center education students are gearing up to showcase their skills and knowledge at a national competition for future teachers this summer. These students, one junior and six seniors, have worked tirelessly to research their topics and perfect their presentations to impress judges at the area and state levels of the Texas Association of Future Educators.

The students will be competing at the Educators Rising National Conference in Washington, D.C. from June 28 to July 1. Each student will be participating in different competition categories such as Ethical Dilemma, Public Speaking, and Teacher Created Materials.

Anastasia Camden, a senior, is no stranger to the national event, having attended for the third year in a row. She is also the vice president of the state TAFE chapter and has been actively involved in public speaking and leading her own chapter.

Other students like Antonio AJ Atalig, Imani Rolland, Noelle Bibiano, Abigail Jimenez, Ioranna Fuentes-Elvira, and Anabella Batista have also made it to the national level with their innovative projects and presentations.

These students have put in a lot of effort and dedication to reach this stage, and they are excited to represent their school, chapter, and community at the national competition. Their hard work and passion for teaching are truly commendable, and they are all set to make a mark at the upcoming event.
