Royal commentator Michael Cole revealed that Charles chose to prioritize his public duties and focus on his recovery from cancer, which is understandably a challenging ordeal for anyone. “The king is facing an unspecified cancer. That is really a harrowing thing for any person to do,” Cole shared with GB News.
Cole further explained that Charles, as the head of state, must maintain his duties and be seen in public, despite his personal struggles. He emphasized that the king does not want his equilibrium to be upset and is emotionally affected by the hurtful comments made by his younger son, Harry, and his wife Meghan Markle.
