Gavi Reopens for Tourists: KSRTC Resumes Trips to Popular Destination

The reopening of Gavi also marks the resumption of KSRTC’s Gavi trips, which are among the most popular budget tourism packages offered by the state transport corporation. The trips include entry fees, boating, lunch, and travel fare, all for a nominal fee of Rs 1300. Travelers can explore the scenic beauty of Gavi, including forests and dams like Moozhiyar, Kakki-Aanathode, and Pampa, while enjoying activities such as boating and lunch at Kochu Pampa.

KSRTC provides trips to Gavi from various units across Kerala, transporting travelers from cities like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode to Pathanamthitta before heading to Gavi by bus. The journey to Gavi offers sightseeing opportunities starting from Kochandi, Seethathodu, with a 60-kilometer forest journey that provides glimpses of elephants, wild buffaloes, spotted deer, and even tigers.
