The senior left-hander pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only three hits while striking out one batter. With this win, Maui High improved to 9-1 in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I race, putting them on the brink of clinching the regular-season title and a state tournament berth.

Kuloloia, who used 108 pitches to finish the shutout, expressed his determination and focus on the game. He credited his curveball and change-up for their effectiveness, despite struggling with his fastball towards the end of the game. The Sabers’ defense also played a crucial role in supporting Kuloloia throughout the game.
