Lennard High’s Quarterback Rising to Powerhouse Status

The Lennard Longhorns are making waves in the world of flag football, led by their star senior quarterback Abby Elwell. Elwell, one of the top passers in the nation, is determined to elevate her team to elite status in the competitive state of Florida.

Last season, the Longhorns made a statement by upsetting eight-time state champions Robinson, marking a significant milestone for the program. Elwell attributes their success to the strong bond and camaraderie among the team, describing them as a close-knit family on and off the field.

As Elwell and her fellow seniors were honored before their final regular season game, she reflected on her time with the Longhorns. With an impressive 7.56 weighted GPA and over 15,000 passing yards to her name, Elwell leaves a lasting legacy at Lennard High School.
