Leonard Craig Harris, a well-respected member of the Loyalsock Township community, passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 79. Known to his friends as Craig, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of many.

Craig had a passion for music and sports, particularly singing in choirs and quartets, as well as playing golf and tennis. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking and skiing in the beautiful Pennsylvania wilderness.

In addition to his personal interests, Craig was a successful attorney who dedicated 40 years to the Jersey Shore law firm of Carpenter Harris & Flayhart. He was actively involved in various professional and civic organizations, including the Lycoming Law Association and the Jersey Shore Lions Club.

Craig’s impact extended beyond his professional and personal life. He and his wife, Marty, opened their hearts and home to foreign exchange students, treating them as their own children. They also started a monthly dinner club in 1990, fostering friendships and culinary experiences.

Survived by his loving wife, two sons, three grandchildren, and two brothers, Craig leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and community involvement. His funeral service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church in South Williamsport, with a luncheon to follow at Herman & Luther’s in Montoursville.

The passing of Leonard Craig Harris is a loss felt deeply by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the contributions he made to his community.
