Lewis Hamilton, the legendary Formula 1 driver, has revealed in an interview with “Hot Ones” that he has been challenged to street races by eager fans. Despite being the most successful driver in F1 history with 103 wins and seven world championships, Hamilton admitted that people have tried to goad him into racing while he’s out and about.

Hamilton shared that there have been instances where people have spotted him at a red light and wanted to test their speed against him. While the current Hamilton doesn’t engage in such activities, he confessed that a younger version of himself would have been more willing to accept the challenge.

The Mercedes driver also discussed his experiences with road rage from other drivers while he’s out for a leisurely drive. Hamilton mentioned that he often receives aggressive reactions from drivers who are in a rush and want him to speed up.

Despite the off-track challenges, Hamilton remains focused on his F1 career and is currently eighth in the driver standings with 42 points. As he prepares for the AWS Grand Prix Du Canada on June 9, Hamilton is gearing up for another opportunity to showcase his speed and skill on the track.

With his impending move to Ferrari next year, fans can expect more thrilling races and exciting moments from the iconic driver. Hamilton’s ability to captivate audiences both on and off the track solidifies his status as one of the greatest drivers in motorsport history.
