The Community Theatre Project at Main Street Studios in Fredonia is currently putting on a thrilling performance of the classic whodunnit play, “Clue.” Directed by Philip McMullen, the play features a talented cast of local community members and college students, bringing to life the iconic characters from the beloved Hasbro board game.
Set in Boddy Manor during the McCarthy era, the play follows a group of eccentric characters as they navigate a web of deceit and mystery. Led by Wadsworth the Butler, played by Riley Wilson, the cast delivers a hilarious and entertaining performance that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
The Main Street Studios Community Theatre Project has been a hit since its inception, with performances consistently selling out. The diverse group of volunteers, including landscapers, teachers, lawyers, and musicians, all share a passion for storytelling and theatre.
Following a successful Easter weekend run, “Clue” will have two more shows on Friday and Saturday night. With a double-casted and staggered format, each performance offers a unique experience for audiences. Additionally, the involvement of four sets of parent/child groups adds a special family dynamic to the production.
