The conduct of some Israel Defense Forces members during the ongoing conflict with Hamas has come under scrutiny, with videos and images circulating online showing questionable behavior. From blowing up buildings in Gaza to waving women’s underwear like flags, the actions of some IDF soldiers have sparked outrage among activists and military ethics experts.

Critics have condemned the behavior captured in these videos, with Palestinian activist Younis Tirawi stating that he has seen thousands of videos showing improper conduct by IDF soldiers. Military ethics expert Asa Kasher, who authored the IDF’s code of ethics, expressed concern over the actions depicted in the videos, emphasizing that such behavior is prohibited.

Israeli journalist Oren Ziv highlighted the troubling trend in Israeli society and the military, noting a lack of moral compass and dehumanization of Palestinians. The recent killing of World Central Kitchen aid workers by Israeli airstrikes further escalated tensions, prompting U.S. officials to call for an end to such attacks.
