Thunder Bay APlex Karate recently hosted a local tournament that saw fierce competition from schools across Michigan. Participants from cities like Sault Saint Marie, St. Clair, Traverse City, Grayling, and Chebogan showcased their skills in various events including forms, weapons forms, point sparring, continuous sparring, grappling, sumo body bag, and escape a stranger.

In the beginner category, students like Gwan, Bryson, Kainan, Justin, and John displayed their talent and determination, with each securing placements in multiple events. Intermediate students like Brandy, Brody, Scott, Zoey, Liam, and Ben also gave their best, with Zoey emerging as a standout performer with multiple top finishes.

The intermediate advance category witnessed intense competition, with students like Zadeya, Michael, Maveryk, Evan, Skyler, Jenna, Eli, and Rome showcasing their advanced skills. Zadeya stood out with multiple first-place finishes, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
